633 Squadron (1964)
Spectacular aerial footage highlights this World War II actioner starring Cliff Robertson as Wing Commander Roy Grant, an air ace leading a group of British flyers into Norway to bomb a Nazi munitions factory. He’s aided by Norwegian resistance fighter Lt. Erik Bergman (George Chakiris), whose beautiful sister, Hilde (Maria Perschy), Grant eventually falls in love with. Mosquito Squadron (1969)
Quint Monroe (David McCallum) is an R.A.F. pilot sent to tell his best friend’s wife (Suzanne Neve) that her husband was killed in action. As the two begin to renew a romance they shared before the war, Monroe is ordered to destroy a Nazi weapons factory in France. But when British Intelligence reports suggest that his friend is alive and being held captive with other Allied pilots at the same location, he concocts a plan to free the prisoners before the bombing run.
