"La Cravate" (1957), Jodorowsky's debut work, is a short silent adaptation of a Thomas Mann story about a Parisian urchin who makes her living selling human heads. Marthe Mercure and Jean-Marie Proslier star. AKA: "Les Tetes Interverties," "The Severed Heads." Next, a young man and his paraplegic lover undertake a grueling and mind-blowing quest to find the mystical city of Tar in the director's first feature, "Fando Y Lis" (1968), starring Sergio Klainer and Diana Mariscal. Also included in the set are "El Topo" and "The Holy Mountain," plus two soundtrack CDs. 6 hrs. total.
