The 13-title Wonders of Biology series covers subjects from animals and insects to plants and fungi. Students will develop a basic understanding of the fundamentals of Biology and work their way up to more complex subjects. There are approximately 1 million known species of animals on earth. About a quarter of these species are beetles. This program provides a fascinating look at the world's most abundant and successful forms of insect life, as it details the life cycles of two of it's representatives, the fearsomely predatory tiger beetle and the familiar ladybug.
