A fabulously wealthy but isolated Philadelphia philanthropist (Richard Gere), racked with physical and emotional pain from his involvement in a car crash that killed two of his friends years earlier, works his way into the life of the couple’s now-grown daughter (Dakota Fanning). He buys her family’s old home as a present and offers her doctor husband (Theo James) a job at the hospital he funds, but does his generosity come at a price? Cheryl Hines, Dylan Baker co-star in this compelling, offbeat character study. AKA: "Franny." 92 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English.
