This sensitive animated film from France, from animator Sylvain Chomet, who adapted Jacques Tati's unproduced 1956 screenplay, focuses on a talented but disillusioned magician in the 1950s, named Tatischeff. As time has seemingly passed him by, Tatischeff is forced to ply his trade in the lowliest of shop windows. That is, until a young girl comes into his life and changes it forever.
