Henry Thomas delivers a wonderfully nuanced performance as Hank Williams in this biodrama that's loosely based on the last few days of the hell-raising country crooner's life. In late 1952, Williams hires a troubled young man named Silas (Jesse James) to drive him to a series of gigs. Although Silas initially barely recognizes his famous passenger, the two slowly form an unexpected friendship based on mutual respect and understanding. With Fred Dalton Thompson, Kaley Cuoco. 104 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1; Subtitles: English, French, Spanish; featurette.
