In 1906, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Martin Clunes) was outraged by the notorious, racially-charged prosecution of George Edalji (Arsher Ali), an Anglo-Indian attorney charged and convicted in connection with livestock maiming. The author employed the deductive reasoning characteristic of his greatest creation to try and win Edalji's exoneration. Fact-inspired miniseries also stars Charles Edwards, Hattie Morahan, Art Malik. 180 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital stereo.
