After a devastating flood threatens to irreparably damage the holdings at London's National Gallery, its curator (Trevor Eve) makes a bold decision to relocate the paintings to an abandoned slate mine in the Welsh countryside. His grand plan could hardly be expected to go without a hitch, but the chaos it creates in North Wales makes for quirky and unpredictable comic complications. Adapted by Frank Cottrell Boyce from his children's book; Eve Myles, Samuel Davies co-star. 82 min. Soundtrack: English.
