Fronted by the charismatic singer, guitarist and songwriter Willy DeVille, US new wave band Mink DeVille are best known for their 1977 UK Top 20 smash hit 'Spanish Stroll'. This release combines Rockpalast shows in Cologne (1978) and Essen (1981), played by two completely different line-ups. The first showcases material from acclaimed album 'Return to Magenta'; the second show features material from 'Coup de Grace', their fourth album, which was produced by Neil Young associate Jack Nietzsche.
