Everyday objects are assembled to create a mammoth work of outsider art, as Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle create their "Cyclop," a bizarre manifestation of the famed one-eyed monster made out of metal scraps, mirrors, stairways, fountains, and strange mechanical gizmos installed by other modern artists. Taking over two decades to fully construct, the amazing installation proved an enormously popular interactive attraction. The story of its creation is told in this delightful documentary. 57 min.
