First, during a trip to London, Israeli nuclear scientist Rod Steiger becomes the target of a joint Palestinian-IRA assassination attempt. As two hit men scour the streets in an effort to take him out, Steiger searches for the one man who may be his only chance for survival, retired security expert Anthony Perkins. Gripping British TV movie "The Glory Boys," based on the novel by Gerald Seymour, also stars Joanna Lumley, Alfred Burke. Next, a Soviet scientist holding vital secrets about the Russian arsenal hopes to defect. The heat of the Cold War gets turned up high when an ex-soldier with a checkered past accepts "The Contract" offered by British intelligence to bring the scientist and his daughter to the safety of the West.
