New York-based writer Chris Rocket (Jimmy Fallon) must revisit his childhood home in Florida after his estranged father suffers a debilitating stroke. While there, Chris experiences a series of flashbacks that force him to confront his painful past. But in examining his family's dysfunction, Chris comes to realize the roots of his own faults, including his inability to commit to his long-time girlfriend, Anne (Lucy Liu).
