A family of prosperous Hungarian farmers takes pity on a young Gypsy runaway (Myrna Loy), accepting her into their home. But they soon learn that no good deed goes unpunished as their guest is revealed to be a scheming vamp who turns their lives upside down when she begins seducing all the men in the household, simply to cause turmoil.
