Wife Janis Paige suspects husband Don DeFore is cheating on her, and together they wind up on a Caribbean cruise where Doris Day (in her screen debut) and Jack Carson get in the middle of the jealous couple's spying, in "Romance On The High Seas" (1948). Songs include "Put 'Em in a Box," "It's Magic"; choreography by Busby Berkeley. Next, "My Dream Is Yours" (1949) stars Day as a young singer who wants to be a radio star and Carson as a talent scout who wants to help her make it in the business. With Adolphe Menjou. Features the title tune, "Someone Like You," and more. And, in "Lucky Me" (1954), a group of out of work entertainers finds themselves relegated to kitchen work at a Miami hotel, but spunky Day teams up with songwriter Robert Cummings to convince an oil tycoon to sponsor Cummings' new show. Phil Silvers co-stars. Songs include "I Speak to the Stars," "Men," and the title song. Six-disc set also includes "On Moonlight Bay," "I'll See You In My Dreams," and "By The Light Of The Silvery Moon." 10 hrs. total.
