In the early 19th century, a disgraced Englishman (Jack Hawkins) and his wife (Glynis Johns) travel to New Zealand to make a new home in the harsh wilderness. Trouble arises for the couple when they clash with the local Maori tribal chief (Inia Te Wiata) whose nubile young bride (Laya Raki) catches Hawkins' eye. Noel Purcell, Kenneth Williams also star in this rousing adventure saga, based on the novel by John Guthrie. AKA: "Land Of Fury." 91 min.
