Errol Flynn plays a gifted surgeon who begins an emergency operation alone after his mentor (Henry O'Neill) fails to show up on time. Flynn's tardy colleague arrives late and his haste causes the death of the patient, although the subsequent inquiry wrongly places blame on Flynn, who resigns rather than disgrace his troubled associate.
