An automobile accident connects the life stories of three separate couples living in the same Vienna high-rise, in this sensual and dramatic film from Austria. A young couple pushes the boundaries of their sexual relations (which are explicitly depicted) with adventurous experimentation; a false pregnancy and infidelities plague an already unstable couple; and, a divorced man's anxieties find abusive release with his ex-wife as well as with prostitutes.
