This swashbuckling adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's novel stars Roddy McDowall as David Balfour, the rightful heir to his late father's estate in 1751 Scotland. However, Balfour's uncle has different plans to keep the inheritance for himself and plots with an evil sea captain to put an end to the young man.
