Working in California at the time of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, filmmaker and New Yorker Nina Davenport decided to drive all the way back home, stopping frequently during her six-week road trip to record the heartfelt feelings of Americans in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy. Davenport's surprising and intimate interviews helped her work through her own feelings about the images she would encounter when returning to her own apartment, which overlooked the World Trade Center. 98 min.
