The Box (2009)

In 1976, a couple (Cameron Diaz and James Marsden) is given a box with a single button on it and are told that pushing it will earn them $1 million--but someone they don't know will die. Unable to resist, Diaz pushes the button, placing herself, Marsden, and their young son at the center of a bizarre supernatural conspiracy that holds their humanity--and their lives--in the balance.
