The fate of a 14-acre community farm located in South Central Los Angeles hangs in the balance as low-income families face activists and local government in a battle over its existence--a spirited (and often dispiriting) conflict captured by this emotional documentary. Established in 1992 as a form of "therapy" after the Rodney King riots, the much-beloved and bountiful garden is eyed for takeover by profit-seeking developers.
