Originally filmed for British television, this stirring screen biography of English ballerina Margot Fonteyn (Anne-Marie Duff) dramatizes the immensely talented dancer's turbulent life and remarkable career. A huge success in her own right, Fonteyn's notoriety takes an even greater leap when she is teamed with Rudolf Nureyev (Michiel Huisman) in the 1960s. Michelle Bonnard, Derek Jacobi co-star. Two-disc set also includes "The Royal Ballet" (1960), a performance compilation starring Fonteyn filmed at London's Covent Garden. 3 1/2 hrs. total. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English.
