This Italian film from director Francesco De Robertis was made to document the heroism of Mussolini's military during World War II. During a routine exercise, the submarine A-103 inexplicably crashed into a surface vessel and sank to the ocean floor. The re-creation of the daring rescue attempt, filmed with real military personnel and not professional actors, paints a powerful portrait of humanity. Felga Lauri and Diego Pozzetto are featured. 85 min. Standard; Soundtrack: Italian; Subtitles: English; featurettes. In Italian with English subtitles.
