The city of Miami was in a constant state of flux during the '80s, as it was overwhelmed by racial tension. However, coach Howard Schnellenberger decided to embrace cultural differences by scouring the Florida ghettos to recruit for his University of Miami Hurricanes football team. This created an atmosphere of hip hop influence and inner-city values that led the franchise to four national titles from 1983-1991, and this documentary presents how these bad boys revitalized a program on the verge of collapse. 102 min.
