Three landmark art house films from controversial director Theo van Gogh (Vincent's great-nephew) are presented in a three-disc set. "1-900" (1994) concerns the weekly phone sex relationship between two strangers that turns dark when the man yearns for a deeper connection. Ariane Schluter, Ad van Kempen star. AKA: "06." Then, "Blind Date" (1996) stars Renee Fokker and Peer Mascini as a bereaved married couple who role-play as strangers in a bar to cope with the death of their daughter, all under the watchful eye of an amused bartender. Finally, a reluctant political journalist (Pierre Bokma) is tasked to do a piece on a popular actress (Katja Schuurman). They initially despise one another, but soon find themselves sharing intimate secrets in "Interview" (2003). 4 1/3 hrs. total.
