Based on a short story by Rudyard Kipling, this rousing adventure from John Huston stars Sean Connery and Michael Caine as shrewd British sergeants who find their military service at an end in 1800s India. Travelling to nearby Kafiristan, the pair concocts a scheme to con the gold out from under a remote village where the locals believe Connery to be the re-incarnation of a god.
