One of the truly great film comedies, based on a true Civil War incident. Keaton is a Southern railroad engineer whose beloved train (with fiancee Helen Mack on board) is hijacked by Union forces. His rescue of both leads to a classic locomotive chase and some hilarious stunts. Next, enter "The Play House" (1921), a vaudeville venue where every character in the opening scene is played by Buster, and then watch hi m try to avoid an army of "Cops" (1922) out to catch him. 116 min. total. Standard; Soundtrack: music score. Silent with music score.
