As the son of a Hong Kong gangster (Tony Leung), Sid (Jaycee Chan) rebels by playing rock music and having sex with the girlfriend (Hei-Yi Cheng) of his father's boss. This latter indiscretion puts the young man's dad in a real bind when the mob boss learns of the affair and insists upon violent retribution.
