Featured are Lucy with Ed Sullivan on "Toast of the Town"; Lucy and Desi stumping the panel on "What's My Line?"; and the daffy redhead on "The Bob Hope Show" with Desi and William Frawley; plus a look at the Desilu Studio and movie footage shot by Ken Murray. Lucy's film career is then celebrated in the two-part compilation "The Funny World of Lucy," which traces her early work in with the Marx Brothers in "Room Service," roles opposite Red Skelton in "DuBarry Was a Lady," Bob Hope in "Sorrowful Jones" and "Fancy Pants," and husband Arnaz in "The Long, Long Trailer," and other movies. 8 1/4 hrs. total on two discs.
