In "Charlie Chan and the Secret Service" (1944), Sidney Toler stars as the Asian Super-sleuth, called on by the Secret Service to investigate the death of a scientist who was working on explosive devices. With Mantan Moreland and Arthur Loft. Next, "The Chinese Cat" (1944) has Chan attempting to crack a case involving nasty jewel thieves who use an abandoned funhouse as a hideout. With Toler, Moreland, Benson Fong. In "The Scarlet Clue" (1945), Chan and his son Tommie set out unravel the mystery of a plot to steal top-secret radar plans. Tolan, Fong, Moreland star. "The Jade Mask" (1945) has Chan trying to track down the murderer of a scientist who discovered a way to turn wood into a material as strong as steel. Toler, Moreland, Edwin Luke star.
