Hilarious service comedy with Bob Hope as a Hollywood star whose plan to evade the draft by marrying the daughter of an Army colonel backfires, landing Hope in basic training...and lots of trouble. Dorothy Lamour, Eddie Bracken and Lynne Overman also star. Then, lively musical-comedy stars Bob Hope and Jack Whiting as sibling sailors who meet sisters Betty Grable and Martha Raye while on leave. Whiting has the hots for Grable, but so does Hope, who tries to fix his brother up with Raye. Songs include "What Goes Here in My Heart?," "A Little Kiss at Twilight." 160 min. total.
