In 1980, three years after cancer required the amputation of his right leg, amateur Canadian runner Terry Fox set out on a 5,000-mile Marathon of Hope across the length of the country to raise awareness and funds for cancer research. This documentary, by fellow Canadian and NBA star Steve Nash, looks at Fox's inspiring run that, while he was unable to finish due to declining health, would capture the nation's--and the world's--attention. 67 min.
