Just as he is about to be hit by an oncoming train, Andreas (Trond Fausa Aurvaag) blacks out and awakens in a bizarre parallel universe of blandly pleasant circumstances. With a new job, wife, and apartment, Andreas at first feels relieved and satisfied by his new life, but gradually realizes he has entered a hell of polite torments that even suicide cannot eradicate.
