When a group of thieves discovers gold on Native American land, they pose as Indians and begin attacking wagon trains and Army units. The commander of the nearby military post may have fallen for the ruse, but it takes more to fool the Durango Kid (Charles Starrett) who saddles up to stop the bad guys, protect the gold, and prevent all-out war from breaking out between the Army and the Indians.
