First, in "The Hard Hombre," Hoot Gibson (in a dual role) shines as a spoiled tenderfoot who is made ranch foreman when he is mistaken for the tough-as-nails cowpoke he resembles. But when his mother unexpectedly shows up, his scheme is exposed. With Lina Basquette, Matilde Comont. Then, in "Lucky Terror," Gibson is a sharpshooter in a traveling sideshow who is falsely accused of murdering a miner.
