The real-life adventures of the lawmen who came to be known as "Batman and Robin" make for a smashing, crashing action-packed movie directed by Gordon Parks ("Shaft"). Ron Leibman is David Greenberg and David Selby is Robert Hantz, two of NYPD's finest, out to put an end to drug dealers infesting Brooklyn. After taking down some of the area's meanest creeps, the duo are transferred to an even tougher precinct where crime kingpins put a contract out on their lives.
