First, Richard Beymer is Ernest Hemingway's semi-autobiographical hero, Nick Adams, in the coming-of-age drama "Hemingway's Adventures Of A Young Man" (1962). Diane Baker, Arthur Kennedy, Paul Newman, and Jessica Tandy also star. Plus, the Hemingway short story "My Old Man" was the basis for "Under My Skin" (1950), with John Garfield as a steeplechase jockey who refuses to throw a race and must flee the country with his young son to avoid a gangster's wrath. Luther Adler, Micheline Presle co-star. Also included in this five-disc boxed set are "The Snows Of Kilimanjaro," "A Farewell To Arms" (1957), and "The Sun Also Rises." 10 1/2 hrs. total.
