The original comedic rap-attack "House Party" (1990) finds a teenager (Christopher "Kid" Reid), grounded for brawling at school, encountering all sorts of wacky hazards while trying to get to his pal's (Christopher "Play" Martin). Martin Lawrence, Robin Harris, Tisha Campbell co-star. Then, Kid 'N Play return for more hip-hop hi-jinks in "House Party 2" (1991). After Play blows Kid's college tuition fund in a recording scam, the pair must hold a wild campus "Jammie Jam" to raise money fast. With Lawrence, Campbell, Queen Latifah, Iman; music by Tony! Toni! Tone!, Bell Biv Devoe. The fun continues in "House Party 3" (1994) as high-haired Kid decides to get hitched, and Play throws him one wild bachelor party. Bernie Mac, Gilbert Gottfried, Campbell, and TLC co-star. With his uncle away for the weekend, aspiring rapper Jon Jon and his pals throw a bash and invite music big shots for the event, in "House Party 4" (2001).
