A doctor (Richard Todd) working in a Montreal hospital finds himself caught in a love triangle with his nagging wife (Catherine Boyle) and an attractive colleague (Betsy Drake). But his romantic troubles take a back seat as the doc puts his own life in jeopardy when he's tapped to perform a tricky brain operation on a South American president (Herbert Lom) who's been targeted for assassination.
