Fred Astaire and Judy Garland's only movie together was this spectacular Irving Berlin musical. After splitting with longtime dance partner Ann Miller, Astaire recruits chorus girl Garland with the promise he can turn her into a star. The new dancing duo starts to fall for each other, but it could all come crashing down when Garland thinks Astaire harbors feelings for Miller. Peter Lawford co-stars. Berlin's wonderful score includes the title song, "A Couple of Swells," "Steppin' Out with My Baby," and more. 103 min.
