Frank O'Connor's award-winning short stories are powerfully adapted by Neil McKenzie, as two Irish rebels keep close guard on a pair of captive British soldiers in a remote farmhouse during the Irish Civil War in 1922. What starts as a tense situation lightens in tone as the rebels and soldiers play cards, dance and discuss politics, but all must eventually make difficult decisions.
