Inspired by the story of The Supremes, this spectacular musical drama stars Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Hudson (who won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar) and Anika Noni Rose as a 1960s girl group who land a job singing back-up for a popular entertainer (Eddie Murphy). But when their manager (Jamie Foxx) promotes Knowles to lead singer over the more talented Hudson as they're about to hit it big on their own, tensions threaten to tear the girls apart.
