Honor Of The West (1939)/The Phantom Stage (1939)
In "Honor of the West," Bob Baker is a cowpoke who tries to talk compadre Carleton Young into steering clear of a group of blackhats looking to enlist him for criminal causes. Eventually, deputy sheriff Glenn Strange, the outlaws, and the united Baker and Young find themselves in a three-way battle for survival. Songs include "The Old Chuck Wagon" and "Pride of the Prairie." Baker and partner George Cleveland take aim at a gang of thieves in "The Phantom Stage"--but do they have a ghost of a chance of surviving the showdown?
