Spoils Of War (2000)
From 1976 to 1983, thousands of Argentinean citizens were captured, beaten, and murdered by the military, casualties of the country's so-called "Dirty War." The children who were left behind found themselves scattered and placed into foster homes. This compelling documentary chronicles the brave journey taken by some of the children's grandparents, who rose up against the government and set up a DNA bank to identify and, eventually, recover their grandchildren. 112 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: Spanish; Subtitles: English. In Spanish with English subtitles.
