After a visit to Nazi Germany, Mitchell became convinced that the key to Britain's survival lied in his model for the Spitfire plane. He then raced to produce the avion that enabled the RAF to turn the tide against the Germans in WWII. David Niven and Roland Culver co-star. AKA: "The First of the Few." British version; 119 min.
