Chilling terror tale stars Larry Drake as a slow adult who befriends a young girl in town. When the girl is viciously attacked, Drake is wrongfully suspected by a bigoted, narrow-minded mob. Frightened, Drake hides in a cornfield as a scarecrow but is eventually hunted down and killed. Later, a force from beyond the grave begins to take revenge on his rash perpetrators.
