First, "The Big Stampede" has John Wayne starring as a deputy sheriff who searches for a nasty cattle rustler responsible for the death of his town's lawman. With Noah Beery, Paul Hurst, Mae Madison. Next, the Duke saves a horse from being executed for murder, then makes friends with the animal as he tries to locate the real killer, in "Ride Him, Cowboy." Co-stars Ruth Hall, Henry B. Walthall. AKA: "The Hawk." Lastly, "Haunted Gold" has Wayne teaming with Sheila Terry to stop a group of outlaws from nabbing the rights to a gold mine.
