An embittered and unemployed actor's (Stephen Barker Turner) travails with his more successful producer wife (Daphne Zuniga) take a turn for the surreal when he embarks upon an affair with a seductive, scarlet-dressed young woman (Heather Gordon). While she can offer him excitement in the moment, her bizarre character may portend a disaster of Faustian proportions. Adapted by Theresa Rebeck from her stage play; slick romantic satire co-stars Steve Cell, Pamela Gaye Walker. 94 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital 5.1.
