Tsvetana Paskaleva is a Bulgarian filmmaker and journalist. In 1990 Tsvetana as a TV journalist focused on the ethnic conflict in South Ossetia. In 1991-1994 Tsvetana worked in Nagorno Karabakh as a journalist, filmmaker and camerawoman to cover the evolving conflict. During these years she produced numerous reports and 7 documentaries for the media in Bulgaria, France, Russia, the USA, etc. Tsvetana received a number of prestigious awards at international film festivals for her "Karabakh's Wounds" series. Ts. Paskaleva is a member of the International Documentary Association (USA), the Union of Bulgarian Journalists and the Union of Armenian Cinematographers. The DVD album Karabakh's Wounds consists of 4 documentary films in 6 languages. Armenian, Russian, English, French, Spanish, Bulgarian.
