Shortly before they were sent to Iraq in 2004, three New Hampshire National Guardsmen─a carpenter and would-be writer, a Lebanese-born college student, and a husband and father who rejoined the Army in the wake of 9/11─were given camcorders by filmmaker Deborah Scranton and asked to record their time there. The trio's raw footage, showing camaraderie and humor amid the daily tension and ever-present danger, makes for a revealing ground-level view of the conflict. Special edition includes bonus footage and updated interviews. 97 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital stereo; bonus footage; interviews; outtakes; theatrical trailer.
